EBME Specialist Maintenance

fmfirst-ebmeThe fmfirst®-ebme specialist maintenance module within the fmfirst® product suite is available Trusts who undertake this form of specialist maintenance on a regular basis.

A typical hospital can have any number of pieces of EBME equipment, the large majority of which need to be maintained or calibrated on a regular basis. With hospital sites often covering vast areas, the maintenance and monitoring of this equipment is an on-going challenge.

fmfirst®-ebme monitors Trust owned equipment , making EBME assets trackable, no longer missing from the main asset database, or duplicated in a second specific EBME asset register - they  are fully visible along with all other Assets managed by fmfirst™.

The EBME module adds further detail to the maintenance records for EBME assets, including:

  - Spare parts used

   - Bench tests

   - PAT Test results

This results in a complete, detailed and  permanent record of all maintenance, test and repair operations on each EBME asset.

Scheduled tasks

As part of the overall fmfirst™ operation, EBME assets can be scheduled for routine Planned Preventative Maintenance and PAT testing.

fmfirst®-ebme allows for EBME maintenance staff to work with only EBME assets and tasks. However, as the EBME assets are part of the overall Trust wide asset register, all EBME related data is available for overall management analysis and review to staff with the appropriate access profile.

Detailed tracking

Where EBME work is undertaken for other trusts, the Ownership and Location details provided by fmfirst-ebme™ for every asset allow for precise identification of each "foreign" asset, along with reporting on work done for such external organisations.

Where the EBME module is in use, a new View is provided which includes multiple Tabs covering the extra data that is required for EBME maintenance purposes.

Detailed  test results can be  automatically acquired from, eg.   Rigel safety testing devices.

The Ticket History provides a detailed record of previous activity on a ticket with an allocated ticket status
